There is one inpatient medical detox in Newfoundland and Labrador — nineteen beds, in St. John's, for the whole province. Labrador has none.
If you're waiting for a bed, or you've come home from one, or you're nowhere near ready to ask for one — there's very little for you in between.
That in-between is where I work.
